Lately, the balance of Soma tipped, and a mysterious life form, called visitors appeared and people started to live in fear. To defeat these visitors, the people established a military group called the Falsif. During an investigation in the Junel Forest, a member of the seventh troop met a girl who has lost all her memories, and thus...
9. Lufia the curse of sinistral
Curse of the Sinistrals opens with a world flung unwillingly into war. Society is moving along, technology is advancing and people are minding their own business leading their lives when, out of nowhere, a voice in the sky rings out across the entire planet. It's Gades, the Sinistral of Destruction, and he declares to the globe that he's about to wipe out all existence unless someone dares step up to oppose him.
That someone, of course, is you. Playing as the red-haired monster hunter Maxim, you take up your sword and your arsenal of fire magic and face off against the self-declared god in the game's opening moments -- and get your butt handed to you. You survive the conflict, of course, and the real quest begins -- embarking on an adventure around the world to find and recruit the toughest warriors on the planet to join you in an epic rematch against Gades for the fate of humanity.
8. Solatorobo red the hunter
Solatorobo stars a sky-pirate fox-dog who rides around on a robot called Dahak, and is set in a world of floating islands inhabited by anthropomorphic cats and dogs who all speak French. (Already, that should pique your interest.) With his sister Chocolat, Red the Hunter roams the skies in an airship in search of adventure, which comes to him in the form of a magical medallion stolen from a battleship that sets a whole fleet of baddies on his red-brown tail.
7. Pokemon Black and white 2

6. Luminous arc 1,2, and 3
One thousand years ago, dragons and Witches warred against God for the fate of the world. God's power was triumphant, but it was a difficult struggle, and the deity sent Himself into a deep sleep to recover from the terrible wounds he suffered in the battle. Ten years ago, the Church has proclaimed that a great event will soon occur: God will be reborn, and the world will be led into a new golden age under His guidance. However, the witches are also fated to return, and the world is doomed to conflict once again. Take control of the Garden Children, a group of fighters and mages trained since childhood and dedicated to eradicating the Witch threat, and discover the mysteries behind their return, their motives, and their history!
5. Final Fantasy IV
I actually called this version easier all-around during my last preview with the game, though that was a big mistake in hindsight. The game is a bit more manageable during the opening hours as you get familiar with the new auto-battle system, the ability to check maps during dungeon crawling, and rip through the opening chapters of the story with Cecil and Kain both at the ready. Once things start to move along story-wise, however, things get very difficult, and FFIV quickly turns into a game designed specifically for the hardest of hardcore gamers.
4. Golden sun dark dawn
In the 30 years since, the immense power of the Golden Sun has changed nearly everything. Continents have shifted. New countries have emerged. New species have appeared. But the world is now imperiled by a new threat.
Psynergy Vortexes, which suck the elemental Psynergy from both the land and power-wielding Adepts alike, are spreading across the world. The new generation of heroes -- the children of those from the previous games–are drawn into the mystery behind the vortexes, as they cross a chaotic world that is succumbing to a new evil...
Offering a planet-sized world of adventure to explore and conquer, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn puts the raw power of the elements in players' hands. Each of the game's playable characters is capable of carrying Djinn, spirits that imbue their owner with unique and powerful abilities. Players can collect more than 70 unique Djinn, granting them the ability to summon mighty deities who unleash devastating attacks that fill both Nintendo DS screens. Djinn powers can also be used to navigate puzzling dungeons and overworld environments that will have players flinging fireballs to burn away obstacles, freezing water to raise platforms, or summoning whirlwinds to create bridges out of floating objects.
